چکیده
Abstract Here we report application of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell (HUCMSC)-derived therapy for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). A 3-year-old female presented with heritable PAH associated hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and was treated 6 months serial intravascular infusions conditioned media (CM) from allogenic HUCMSCs. The treatment markedly improved clinical hemodynamic parameters decreased blood plasma markers vascular fibrosis, injury inflammation. comparative analysis single-cell RNA sequencing data collected three HUCMSCs two vein endothelial (HUVEC) controls identified eight common clusters, all which indicated regenerative potential specific properties were validated by untargeted label-free quantitation the CM proteome, suggesting increased activity regeneration, autophagy anti-inflammation pathways mitochondrial function. Prostaglandin demonstrated HUCMSC secretion prostaglandin E2, known its capacity. Additional prospective studies are warranted to confirm further explore benefits HUCMSC-derived PAH.

Human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cell transplantation for the treatment of spinal cord injury
The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cell (HUCB-MSC) transplantation on the functional restoration of spinal cord injury (SCI). A total of 46 adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups: Injury (n=15), control (n=15) and transplantation (n=16). A SCI model was established using the modified Allen's metho...

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in the treatment of chronic systolic heart failure. Fifty-nine hospitalized patients with heart failure were randomly divided into a treatment group (30 patients) and a control group (29 patients). The treatment group received treatment with medication as well as intracoronary transplantation...
متن کاملHuman umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell transplantation restores damaged ovaries
Ovarian injury because of chemotherapy can decrease the levels of sexual hormones and potentia generandi of patients, thereby greatly reducing quality of life. The goal of this study was to investigate which transplantation method for human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (HUMSCs) can recover ovarian function that has been damaged by chemotherapy. A rat model of ovarian injury was establi...
متن کاملTransdifferentiation of Human Umbilical Cord-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Dopaminergic Neurons in a Three-Dimensional Culture
Introduction: The induction of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (HUC-MSCs) toward dopaminergic neurons is a major challenge in tissue engineering and experimental and clinical treatments of various neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson disease. This study aims to differentiate HUC-MSCs into dopaminergic neuron-like cells. Methods: Following the isolation and charac...

Background: In this study, we examined a new two step induction protocol for improving the differentiation of human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells into neural progenitor cells. Materials and Methods: Human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells were first cultured in Dulbecco’s modified eagle medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum in a humidified incu...
